Where Tradition Meets the Canvas

THE SOFRA LEGACY
It started with a simple idea: food is art. Sofra, meaning "dining table" in ancient traditions, was built to be a gathering place where the community could reconnect over shared plates.
Founded by Chef Elena Rostova and Artist Marco Venn, we merged a working pottery studio with a bustling kitchen. What began as a small corner café has grown into a culinary landmark, yet our mission remains unchanged.
We believe that the plate you eat from is just as important as the food upon it. Every meal at Sofra is an immersive experience of texture, taste, and visual beauty.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We believe that dining is not just about sustenance, but about the connection between the earth, the artist, and the guest.
Farm to Table
We don't just say it; we live it. 85% of our ingredients are sourced within 50 miles of our kitchen, supporting local farmers and ensuring peak freshness.
Artisan Spirit
From the hand-thrown ceramic plates to the hand-kneaded sourdough, we believe in the beauty of human touch and the imperfection of handmade art.
Community Heart
Sofra is more than a restaurant; it's a community hub. We host monthly art workshops and donate a portion of our proceeds to local art education.
